General TV Channel / Canal 2 International is a private general-interest television channel based in Cameroon focused on information, entertainment and sport. The first private channel in Cameroon, it belongs to the group TV +, also belonging to Emmanuel Chatue and is based in Douala in the Bonapriso district. CANAL 2, has started its programs since 2001 under approximate logistical conditions. Until 2003, when it closed, the channel mainly broadcast music. Subsequently, its offer was diversified through the production and distribution of Comedy Situations (Sitcom) and newspaper editions "all in images" . In 2004, the channel was called Canal 2 International, announcing its new commitment and desire to mark the world of audiovisual communication.
