KITV's studios are located on South King Street in downtown Honolulu, and its main transmitter is located on Palehua Ridge, north of Makakilo. On cable, the station is carried on Oceanic Spectrum channel 4 throughout most of the state, except for Oahu, where it is available on channel 6. A high-definition feed is offered on Spectrum digital channel 1006 statewide. The station is also available on Hawaiian Telcom channel 4 statewide. KITV operates several satellite stations and translators on all the major Hawaiian Islands to rebroadcast programs outside of metropolitan Honolulu.
