General TV Channel / Action 24 is a television channel in Attica. It broadcasts terrestrial digital from 13 broadcast centers in Attica and Euboea via satellite platform NOVA and COSMOTE TV. It started its operation in October 1990 from the Megara area in Attica under the name TVM (ie TV Megara) and founder Sotiris Papahelia. Two years later he changed his name and TVM was renamed TV Magic. In 1993 the channel's facilities moved to Piraeus. In 1994, the founder of the Sotiris Papailias station left the shareholding and the majority stake in the station was acquired by the businessman Andreas Zygouras. One year after, it was renamed Magic Piraeus and later in late 1998 Magic TV.
